Missing APAs

Post by MuguNiner »

Hello Forum,

I have a problem. I need to get ships out of Tarawa. The top screen shot lists two APA's, the Ormsby and Sheridan.
I attempt to create an escort task force, but these two ships are not listed. I have sorted the available ships by type.
They aren't listed for any type of task force.
Any ideas?

Thanks

On the screen where you select the ship to join the task force, look at the bottom middle area of the top window pane. There are usually two filter selectors there where you can rule out ships based on certain criteria. I forget the exact wording of them, but toggle them both to make sure you are seeing all ships.

Are you referring to the "suppress ships not due upgrade" or "Show Ships due upgrade"? I have never tweeked those in my life. However, the hand of the Almighty has come down on that reality and it no longer exists... i.e. AE quit without a save and so I have two days to relive... I'm wondering if there is a Capt Bill Murray and/or an SS Ground Hog. At least I now know where the enemy is!
Thanks

There is always a Post Turn Save after the turn runs. Look in the first three slots to find it. Any work you did after the end of the last turn is gone though.

Your screen shoot shows there are 26 ships in port available, but the list only has 12. If you scroll down do the ships show up? You could select port only at the top right and see just the ships in port. Out of the 12 ships displayed only 2 are in port, the rest are in TFs.

The "Show ships due upgrade (5)" is telling. There are 5 ships that aren't being displayed, while 26 ships are (and it also says "Suppress ships not due upgrade (26)"). Also, there are 7 ships in the port but only 2 are displayed in that list... I'd bet dollars to doughnuts...
