Thanks Andrew

Appreciate the feedback.

I'll go over the briefing and clarify. Tried to set it up that you had an embarrassment of riches, too many AC for your deck space, and then let you make the choice of who you hoist aboard. Your choice takes advantage of the A-6's range, reversing it would take advantage of their bomb-load being handy. The CH-46's are supposed to come on board to transfer all the stuff the CODs are delivering, so are the Harriers and Cobras to give them range. Perhaps I've made it unnecessarily complex - been known to happen[:'(]

I need to go over the teleports again, sounds like the ones into A & B are working properly. Everyone should change sides on a trigger (can't remember what at the moment) then teleport in. The messages that should come with the teleports are supposed to give more direction. For instance, the AH ammo should come with a message saying you can move the Cobra's ashore, same with another bunch of AV-8 ammo.

I didn't change the airport side as I figured that it would take some hours for the Engineers to sort stuff out, check for booby-traps (they weren't IEDs in 94), fuel contamination etc. So the idea is that at the end of this scenario you have the 4 Cobras and 4 Harriers working off the Landing Zone. At the start of the next your able to put one squadron of F-18's ashore on the airfield and the rest of the VMA and HMLA Sqns ashore on the LZ. 12 hours into the next scenario a bunch of parking spaces go in and you can then land another VMFA Sqn.

Will scrub the points again. Wanted that SSGN to shoot simultaneous with the Su-24 attack, will check it out.

With the other subs, I've reduced the number available to the Sov's to reflect the attrition of the past 7-8 scenarios. They can't be everywhere, and your move was unpredictable - Eisenhower might have ran into one, but the remaining subs are generally shielding Iceland from the predictable Amphibs or a CV that is getting too close.

Will try and get a revision out this week.

ORIGINAL: magi

an annoying issue i am having with TG Wasp... is getting them to sustain cruise speed.... if i chose a cruise speed from the throttle menu... they it goes 20kt.... but the LST's are doing 16kt and fall behind... on manual override if i enter a speed or use the slider... it cuts the factor in half... 8 or 11kt.... ive been fusing with it through out game play....

ive had this problem in other scenarios.. but usually i can find a value that works for me... but i cant find what i want this time....

Maybe I should just pull the LSTs out of the formation, put them in an accompanying group and just keep the ARG ships in scenario.

Thanks

Here is version 1.1 with the following changes:

-Fixed the error in the change sides/teleport routine, should work now.
-Fixed the scoring error
-Removed the LSTs
-Tightened up the Soviet interceptors and CAP
-Added some clarifications to the brief
-Fixed WRA for the Oscar
-Couple of other tweaks

Look forward to your comments and suggestions.

Thanks

Hi Gunner,

That Oscar is an absolute killer now, it wiped out 2/3s of my TF :s
I still don't see a teleport happening?
The Soviet fighters now mostly stay outside of my SAM range (although a few still got shot down by my surface assets).
The Phoenix loaded F14's from the east coast are a nice addition to the lineup.

One more small thing:
One of the Eisenhower ASW heli missions has unfixed ref points.

Almost ready to be released.

Good job.

Thanks Willie

The teleports should happen when the CH-53s sit in one of the three LZ's, they need to sit for I think a min for the infantry, longer for others (their not huey's) . Also when the CH-47 sit in the HQ LZ for a couple min they should have their name changed and add to a counter, when the counter reaches a certain level new teleports and messages happen - might be too complicated of a setup.

Hi Gunner,
thanks for your excellent work. I’ve noticed that there are only 8 AIM-9N in Vinsion’s magazines, that means you can only rearm 4 F14/18 is this intentional?

<thanks again.

Dabo

Good catch, intent is to have limited reloads but that's a bit tight.

It's on my list

Thanks
