Constructing an Integrated Air Defense System

At one time there was an excellent thread detailing how to build a realistic IADS, with the various layers of command/control, division between groups, and so on. Regiment A can see it's own targets, and whatever HQ sees. Regiment B sees it's own targets, and whatever Brigade HQ sees. And as long as Brigade HQ is alive, both Regt's can see each other's targets. Etc, etc etc.

I have to assume that thread was more than a year old.

I'm going to poke around in the editor and see what I can come up with, I'm sure I'll manage. But it makes me wonder
- Does anyone have a way to retrieve threads >1 year old?
- If so, can that thread be found/made available (big ask, I know)
- How much other useful "how do I do it" information has been lost... exactly the sort of thing that new users come on here to find.

All I did was search IADS in Command forum. The results go back to 2013.

btw, none of the information has been lost. Just knowing what you are searching for is all you need.

I had a feeling you'd be the first one to answer, if in fact it could be found. The second one looks like exactly what I was looking for, thanks.

And just so I don't invoke "the wrath of Wood", I did search. Pic below is what I get when I search "IADS"... nothing prior to June 2015.

Aaaaaand, I figured it out. Using the obvious and convenient text box and "Search" button at the bottom of the screen gives you 17 results in the last year.

Going to Search in the toolbar, scrolling through all the Matrix forums until you find Command, making sure it's not set to a time limit, and looking there... and yes, I found it that way.
