Public BETA Hotfix v2.21r

Hi there,

Just keeping everybody posted.
I have prepared hotfix 2.21r.

It can be manually installed on top of the 2.21k or 2.21m or 2.21n or 2.21o or 2.21q version.

Download it here:

1. Rename your current AdvancedTacticsGold.exe to AdvancedTacticsGold_backup.exe

2. Copy the .exe file in the zip to the same directory.

3. Restart game

Now... pay attention this hotfix only works for the MATRIX version and does NOT work for the Steam version.

What does it fix?

- Fixed a strange filename issue when you where setting an alternate master file in the random game setup screen
- Fixed a crash in Ormands scenario with aircraft model
- Fixed a crash in Ormands scenario with Models
- Added the ModelAllowUpgrades button in the editor
- No more crashes when watching history replay with TOE system enabled
- TOE system did not work well with aircraft and could cause mysterious oil losses, fixed! (already fixed in the private v2.21m)
- TOE system got confused with variant resource use = off. fixed!

When I start the new version, it shows 221k on the splash screen, upper right corner.
The .exe file is larger than version k (my most recent update) so I'm guessing I have the N version and it just still says k in the splash.
Or did I install incorrectly?

yes it should say N. Anything else means you have not properly done the 'manual' patch.

'o' is the latest. Using the patch might avoid a crash so I'd 'install' it but since your version reports 'o' sounds like you have already done so.

I know I bought my version through Matrix, so I can go back to the non-steam version I think, but will this be pushed to Steam eventually as well?

They always have been, so I don't see why not.

Very good! So next question: when might this be pushed to Steam? I'm still on v221k in-game.

Apparently there might be a bit of delay. But it should happen the latest within a few weeks.

In the meantime keep in mind that you can play games started with Steam version just as well on the Matrix version.
