yes, and now hopefully will be doing any or all games that haven't been fully tested as yet, bit of a pain as i have to wipe the system for each and every test, but so far all past will flying colors, with some only minor adjustments, all posted with help guides on how to do it and get it to run, if they work on windows 10, should also be fine for others etc

last post, there is a work around to get it working in windows 10 as it doesn't support some resolutions so a 3rd part program is needed and once used it works fine, not tested it myself so no install or set up guide from myself on offer, can always request it and i'll see what i can do if you like, but VPaulus is staff where i'm just a community mod only, so once he's or other have done testing something, i may or may not be able to re do it.

same guide or program and solution for windows 8.1 normally works for win 10 games as well.

windows 10 is built to be almost 100% backwards compatible with windows 8.1 right out of the box, if i can get a game running on windows 10, i'd be 99% sure i also could get it running on the same hardware on a clean system of windows 8.1

a clean system means for me a new fresh install, with nothing else on it, so day one install, for every test i run, a pain, but then at least i know it works out of the box

I can't get UV working properly on Windows 10. It starts, but the interface is totally unresponsive, taking maybe 5 seconds to respond to every mouse click. This makes it effectively unplayable. I tried the long procedure outlined in tech support, downloading & setting up several windowing apps. That didn't work either, the UI just didn't respond correctly. Ironic as such an old game could run like lightening on a current PC.

I also have WITP and that had exactly the same problem on installation...However, a later patch added screen size command line switches and after setting those up, it worked fine. So it looks like the same fix that was done for WITP, needs to be done to UV for Win 8, 10 and probably Win 7, too.

The post by Notagrog clearly states that the Tech support tips / downloads ( Win 8 / 8.1 ) did not work on Win 10 ( for him ).

[ Perchance it depends on the exact O/S specs / video card you have ? ]

Personally, I have not tried this game on Win 10 yet, as I have not yet got a Win 10 PC. I guess I will have to try the game on my new Win 7 Laptop I.D.C.

[ I currently have it on a Vista O/S and it appears to work OK there... ]

I've already tested in Windows 10. It will only works if you use the same workaround for Windows 8/8.1, otherwise you'll experience a lot of mouse and map scroll lag.
It's just an workaround, so we can't guarantee that it will work with every Windows 8/8.1/10.
I've already tried with some wrappers but so far I wasn't successful.

For what it's worth, I couldn't get D3Dwindow to work.

However, DXWnd does work. With my monitor set at 2560x1080 the UV window is a bit small, but you can manually increase it just enough so that the text is still readable. I didn't experience any mouse or screen lag. I'll need to mess with resolution and DXWnd settings to improve it if possible.
