[ANSWERED] B820 potential game performance problem

Post by Lowlaner2012 »

I was playing Cannaries cage on the B820 RC, I don't no if its my PC or the game performance problem has reared its ugly head again...

When the scenario is running there is a delay from when I click my mouse or use the mouse wheel to when it has an effect in game, don't get me wrong the game is still very playable... but I'm sure I was running bigger scenarios earlier in the betas and they were as smooth as butter...

Has anybody else noticed a drop in performance in the latest beta?

Or am I imagining it :-)

Edit, I will upload the savegame if needed tonight when I'm on my PC...

Seems fine here... how long has it been since you rebooted your computer?

Yes, my game performance is greater than a 1 second to 1 second ratio.

Do you have an older computer and are running high-resolution in 1:1 time?

I have a 3.3 GHz triple core AMD CPU and 4gb of RAM... and yes I have tried turning off high fidelity but it doesn't make that much difference..

Hey its probably just my machine, I plan to add a new CPU and some more RAM at some point in the near future, like I said there it is only a very small delay between click and effect in some of the larger scenarios, the small to medium ones play smoothly enough for me, so the game is very playable :-)

Thanks for looking at my save...
