Display Problem

Post by E »

I am unable to see the units when right clicking stacks on the right half of the map...
Also, is there a way to expand the message block?
Resolution is set correctly in the ini, and results are the same when windowed or full screen.

Have you installed the Day Zero Patch? Peter corrected some display errors in this quick update.

Otherwise it's located here: http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=4030153

You unzip the content and paste the files into their folders.

Yes I did, prior to posting about this.

Note that the problem gets worse the closer the right-clicked stack is to the center of the map (no counters are visible at all in the popup window). The example above was a best case scenario of right clicking the furthest right stack, as far to the right on the stack, as possible.

That's good news. There is a solution for your problem in the UPDATE 1. Check out the forum for when it is released. It could be early next week [;)]

BTW, will this patch give me the ability to expand the results/text window? (so I don't have to scroll it horizontally to read it)

1024 x 768. I do appreciate less scrolling in the results window, and can work around the "new wrinkle."

Whoops... I cannot work around the "new wrinkle!"

I cannot access the Start buttons for AFVs...

1) I select a tank on the Map.

2) I hit "Start" buttons that appears to overlay the Results window.

3) The tank is deselected in the Units window and a blinking cursor appears in the Results window.

4) The tank does not start and cannot be reselected.

I believe the Results windows is overlaying the AFV buttons in the logic, while the AFV buttons are overlaying the Results window in the graphics.

That will work for the AFVs for now... thanks. IS THE NEWER PATCH READY YET? *grin*

...of course, I still don't know who is in a stack on the right side of map (You don't expect me to keep having to read the Units display do you?! *grin*).

Yes, that is the patch that didn't fix the stack display and caused the new problem with the Results window.
