Assault on Arnhem

A quick squizz at Richard Berger's Assault on Arnhem, recently jazzed up and released with Hexwar.

Graves Bridge is a few counters. Nijmegen focuses on one hex - the bridge, and Axis can just cycle units to defend it.

Arnhem both sides are north of the river, so should be more interesting.

Campaign is like history the three Allied groups are spread out, so may just wind up playing the first three battles over again. It is 63 turns, so maybe more maneuvering can be done.

One can also use CheatEngine vs AI for unlimited movement to get Allies into interesting positions. I have only played Nijmegen so far.

Can't recommend it except to novices maybe. If you already have HPS Market Garden, you have hundreds of scenario options.
