[Boardgame's counter MOD] The Battle of Britain

This mods allow you to play the free DLC "The Battle of Britain" with boardgame's style counters instead of the 3D units.

As fan of the traditional wargames (with paper maps and cardboard counters), I decided to modify this excellent game whom is Order of Battle to be able to find the sensations of a good old game around a table.

You can download the mod here

To use it, unzip the archive file in the folder "Documents\My Games\Order of Battle-Pacific\Mods" of your computer.


My ambition is to realize the same MOD for the complete game Order Of Battle Morning Sun.
This incomming MOD will certainly be ready for download in this month (march 2016).

Have fun and let me know if you would like some improvements.

I have had this kind of small display issues sometimes, but most of the time they do not appear.
I deactivated the "bloom effect" on my game's preferences... maybe it is that ?

I'll try to ask developpers if they know what it is about.

Actually, the problem settles regularly and results from the overlapping of some effects. It is very annoying, especially with AA artillery and their visual effects.

I thus modified temporarily the file effects.txt and effectSequences.txt of the DATA folder of the mod at least to reduce at the most the nuisances before finding a definitive solution in this problem.

I'll post the new Mod archive tomorrow morning (sorry, i can't do earlier...)

Well, I updated the archive file of the mod.
This update corrects partially the problem by avoiding the worst visual "malefic loops" on fire effect which slowed down the game.
While waiting for a complete correction, it is playable and only some hits results still raise problem.

Ok, i founded solution. [:)]

I updated the archive file with new 1.01 version that works rather well.
The only inconvenience is that some shooting effects seem bigger than before, but no more devilish loops... :D
