Refit with German units

Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: The German-Soviet War 1941-1945 is a turn-based World War II strategy game stretching across the entire Eastern Front. Gamers can engage in an epic campaign, including division-sized battles with realistic and historical terrain, weather, orders of battle, logistics and combat results.

This expansion to the award-winning War in the East comes with a wide array of later war scenarios ranging from short but intense 6 turn bouts like the Battle for Kharkov (1942) to immense 37-turn engagements taking place across multiple nations like Drama on the Danube (Summer 1944 – Spring 1945).

Putting all units to refit will make no good. Refit just means priority. If everybody has priority, nobody really has it

You should put refitting the units that really matter, example, panzer divisions, or those that have been crippled

Also, if you have the luxury of keeping a heavily refitted unit out of line, check to see if experience levels have sunk significantly below unit morale level. If so, you might want to let it train up a week or two, maybe while digging or doing garrison duty somewhere.

Thanks ;-D So refitting does not speed up replacements but just gives priority to certain units?

Not sure I've understood right but I think that refitting units get first hit at a % of replacements. So if you have only a few (how long is a piece of string?) refitting, they will flesh out relatively quickly. SUs attached to HQs get second hit, then the majority of replacements go to all the rest. Refit, then, is just a way to prioritise replacements from a limited pool, for a few units. As No Idea says, if you put all on refit, you aren't prioritising anything.
