FTP error when trying to update

Had this error on 2 different games today (War in the East and Flashpoint) Both report FTP error when trying to download update patch

maybe time of day or could be local loop issue, nobody else posted about it so atm your the first, so maybe a local problem, please re post if it happens again or still errors, sorry about that

Still same today - will have to start looking for patches manually. Not a problem before now.

have you tried a different browser?

as i use windows 10 pro 64bit and it doesn't also like the default one so installed chrome and for me it works fine now

Issue is via game front end not via a browser. Can download via Firefox fine - just the in game updater does not work. Anyway now I know to just go to the website to check for patches

Chris, I can't update from the ftp either using the launcher update. Something to do with my anti-virus software. If I turn it off the update works fine. I've tried adding exceptions, but that has not worked. I would go the direct route from the members area or if you are looking for the beta you can get it from our OTS website.

Thanks - I will do the same as no wish to turn off AV.
