I found it a complete waste of money. I have to say that I bought the original Pike and Shot and found it less than great, a wasted opportunity for what is a fascinating period. So I hoped that the campaign version would remedy this. I question whether its a campaign version at all, all you end up doing is moving troops from one area to another, and the enemy moves their troops to another area.... its like a game of 'whack a mole'

Removed from my hard drive, like so many other games I'm afraid.

Hola companiero!

I tested the beta, wrote a review (alas in German) and IMHO it is close to a tabletop game. I wish for a Age of Musket version of it. It's easy to play, hard to master, especially via PBEM. If they got a deal on it, get it if you're interested in the pre-musket era of warfare.
