I was an early access adopter of door kickers, it is a poster child for early access done right. The game just got consistently better and more content added for the whole period of early access right up to release. I'll probably jump in early on this one. Doorkickers you can usually find on sale, i recommend it highly, watch some vids and if the game play interests you, grab it.
