AGN post moves.

18th Army marches nearer to Tallinn and spots a few enemy units ahead.

16th Army stalls in it's main attack on Reds south of Luga. 4th Pz Gp slogs 60KM through woods south of LKuga to try (I need to get more infantry near to Luga to take it).

AGC post moves.

4th Army secures Orsha and pushes 60km nearer to Smolensk.

With a dense defence of enemy forces along and around the Minsk-Moscow highway 2nd Pz Gp heads to the east south of the Highway through open territory smashing through 16th Army positions. 3rd Pz Gp heads eastwards to the north of the Highway pushing through 22nd Army positions.

The Reds can't be strong in depth everywhere.......

Turn 13.

Only 1 desperate Counter attack by the Soviets to try and break the encirclement of 1/2 of their army near Kiev. It failed though with heavy Soviet losses and average Axis losses.

AGN post moves.

18th Army nears Tallinn and Narva.

4th Pz Gp wheels to the north and with a joint assault by 16th Army takes Luga and forces the Reds to flee northwards. The Armour rolls and a follow up attack on the main road to Leningrad is successful too:

AGC post moves.

The Reds continue to fall back when Pz Gp 2 and 3 threaten to encircle them. They will eventually run out of room to do that though. Smolensk will fall next turn. Next target is Vyazma.

2nd Pz Gp smash through the Forests south of Vyazma and 3rd Pz Gp makes small progress to the North.

Turn 14.

Reds made 3 counter-attacks against encircling forces east of the Dnepr (failed) and against 2nd/3rd Pz Gp (1 successful/1 failed). All cause important Axis losses though.

AGN post moves.

Rain across parts of the Front.

4th Pz Gp didn't move due to Mud and is put on Refit as the FSB is moved up to Luga.

Turn 15.

Soviets made 3 counter attacks. 1 was successful (2nd Pz Gp Infantry Div SW of Vyazma). 2 failed. 1 cost the Reds 10000 casualties (20% of attacking force) on the 4th Pz Gp spearhead.

AGN post moves.

4th Pz Gp is still resting.

18th Army makes a large attack and is outside of Tallinn.

16th Army makes 1 successful attack on a lone Rifle Division NE of 4th Pz Gp.

AGC post moves.

21 Soviet Divisions were almost encircled around Vyazma but the final attack by 3rd Pz Gp just failed to close the pocket. 2nd Pz Gp had earlier smashed through 21st and 49th Army positions. As a minimum the Reds will likely have to retreat unless they get lucky and manage to push back 3rd Pz Gp.

If they retreat I'd be comfortable enough as I'll secure Vyazma and bring the FSB forward. If they stay put and don't successfully counter attack I'd be delighted!

AGS post moves.

Things are looking like they're beginning to unravel and get stretched for the Soviets in the South. 17th Army now has a bridgehead over the Dnepr. 6th Army expanded it's and 1st Pz Gp moved out of R&R and head 60km out of Kiev destroying 4 enemy Divisions in the process.

If there's no further Armies ahead then the Reds good quickly be in trouble down here..

Rom front post moves.

11th Army still spots no enemy units east of Zaporozhye. If this carries on I'll press 45th Army and Southern Front units into The Crimea, seal them off and use all of 11th Army to push east.

You where lucky in the south, if he had held/blown the nikolajev dnepr bridge your troops past the marchlands would have been out of supply and easy picking in a turn or two.

Zhukov can't be everywhere at once.

I for one only use his bridge blowing abilities sparingly. Given the Soviet problems with activations, he's needed for other things besides blowing bridges up.

It's especially annoying that he has to be assigned to an army to do this rather than a theater.

Yes the bridge blowing tactic seems rather problematic.

Zhukov was to the east of Kiev at that time blowing that bridge
