missing PW data file on new install

Hi,

Trying to install AE on a newer computer (Win10) for the first time. I go to the members area and grab the download at the top of the page. When it installs two odd things are happening. One - the shortcut isn't getting installed, and 2 (more importantly) when I try to launch the game I get an error message that it can't find PW data and the game won't launch. I have tried re-installing and re-booting but no joy. Also tried searching the forums but no luck there either.

I seem to recall a PW data problem from a few years ago but my brain cannot re-collect the details.

Any help appreciated. I can then see if I am subject to the WIN10 performance issues.

Hi all - please ignore as I figured out how to get it installed and running - now to work on the WIN10 issues, but I see plenty of posts to help me there......
