Bravo to SpaceX! This is no small feat of engineering, this is a massive leap forward in technology and capability in space flight! To land your first stage booster from an orbital delivery mission back to its launch site is absolutely amazing!

First Ever Successful Rocket Return Landing

Blue Origin’s New Shepard space vehicle successfully flew to space, reaching its planned test altitude of 329,839 feet (100.5 kilometers) before executing a historic landing back at the launch site in West Texas.

What Blue Origin did was cool, but that was suborbital test. What no one has done before is put a payload into orbit and return the first stage booster under its own power. SpaceX is order of magnitude ahead of Blue Origin at the moment. The amount of Delta-V was so much more for Falcon 9, its really an impressive maneuver they were able to use.
