a bug in colour of raid icons?

in the image german raids are coming back home after london bombing.

but last raids are orange, not red as returning raids should be










haven't they dropped their bombs???
or is it just a bug in colour? (orange instead of red like returning others)

I've noticed that raids stay orange if they couldn't find their target, even after bombing targets of opportunity.

btw, have you tried my proportional aircraft graphic mod?

may be this? I don't remember if orange ones coming back were fighters or bombers

yes, but I'm not using it because I preffer to play all time with colored square icons on, so I can see unit paths, futhermore all those airplanes icons on screen make me confused [X(] , I preffer the squares...
