For me, JT's SB games to have way too many phases, where the player has little or no input.

Huh? You talking about Squad Battles? You have lots of control over a squad and what weapons they can use.

Kinda lost about this comment.

Quick One : How is this new system (if it is new) different from Squad Battles? Is it the online play? You get all theaters for one price?
How is the game positioned Vs. today's competition? Sorry for more than one question.

Thanks

I would prefer a top down view on the vehicle counter.

I hope there are mods for this. The weapons images look fine, but the squad and leader images are unfortunate.

And whatever POV gets used for weapons should probably be the same used for vehicles, so a three-quarters view from above is probably what is called for.

Here some example of tank top view.I have realized the mod for Heroe of Stalingrad where there is a moving turret(the reason for which some picture is without turret)but i could use the same picture for the new game.

not sure, as for me the more info you put on a tile, it can look cluttered with some using far too many numbers, where as game ones in use atm look clean and crisp imo, but everyone to there own, it's a personnel choice regarding counters i find, so there's never a right or a wrong one, just a users choice and opinion [;)]

You get the Eastern Front and the Western Front (not Italy and N. Africa I think).

Game is influenced by ASL so the calculations may be differentthan those in SB.

Because of the ASL influence I assume there will be more short and small scenarios? When I played SB it seemed a lot of scenarios were fairly big, for me at least.

Hey Kevin,

Other than both are based on squad sized combat, both are different. I have something like 1100 PBEM SB games under my belt, so I know a bit about SB. I enjoy both games a lot [:)] As for on-line play, not in it's current state based on the type of turn phases. I would love to see it in the future [:)]

You'll get Italy and some North Africa as well.
