why are stream raids better than one huge raid?

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

why are stream raids better than one huge raid?

Post by quertice »

stream way of bombing was historically used, also ai in game creates streams of bombers

but why is it better? I think a huge unique raid is harder to attack for defender's fighters

I give an example:

1940: I want to bomb london urban area by 150 bombers, I can send them all together in one raid, or split them in many raids one following the previous so having a stream.
Same example with more (or much more) than 150 bombers I could do with allied in 1943 against hamburg

in other words, I don't know in what instances I have to create raids by using "follow" in raid creation menu

if I would have to use stream way, how much time has to be between one raid and the next following?

Any ship can be a minesweeper, once.
