Unified login

Post by LeeChard »

I'm not allowed to login to my matrix games members site.
I am told that I cannot do that unless I unify my sites. I did this once but I lost my
long term matrix forum presence.
Tech helped me retrieve my history but I'm back to not being able to login to the home page.
Is there any way I can unify using my Ranger5355 forum name and password?

We have created a Unified Login System to the following online websites, so you do not have to remember a separate password for each.

If you are a new user, you just need to create one account and this will allow you to login, using your unique password, to any of the following sites;
www.Slitherine.com
www.MatrixGames.com
www.WarGamer.com

If you are an existing user, you can login through the Unified Login system, using your existing account from any of these websites. Then you can merge your accounts, thus creating one unified login to gain access to all of the sites.

I understand that if I login under my matrix account it will create a unified user, an good
idea in my opinion.
I have done this but in the process I lost my forum identity and history.
If I try to login using my old Ranger5355 name I'm told that that name is already in use.
I had the techies restore my forum login but I'm back to square one with the ULS except now it
insists that I unify or I can't get to my member sites at Matrix.
I hate to lose my years of forum history but obviously the Matrix/Slitherine sites are more
important.
I'm hoping for a work around.

That's how I resolve my problem in the first case. I went to support and they
restored my forum stuff and I just operated with different logins for Matrix
and Slitherine.
Unfortunately now I can't get into Matrix site without creating a unified login.
Last time I did that I lost my forum.
I've had good experiences with support tickets before but now I can't get to support
without creating a unified......
Picture Linda Blair in the Exorcist, I kind of look that way right now :D

If the issue is preventing you using the support site you can email the guys at support@slitherine.co.uk and they should be able to see what is going on.

Cheers
