4k resolution and fonts

AGEod goes back to the Napoleonic era and delivers the most detailed and comprehensive strategy game ever created about a time of struggle and conquest that forged modern Europe.

4k resolution and fonts

Post by Jim D Burns »

Was messing around with my new 4k TV monitor and checking the game out under 4k resolution (3840x2160) with different font settings. I did a side by side comparison of the small 100% windows font vs. the larger 150% windows font. The attached image shows the difference, though I had to reduce it to 17% quality to get the file size down to less than 1 meg.

You can see at 100% the right screen edge goes deep into Bavaria past Munchen, but the font is unreadable. The font at 150% can be read, but you lose a lot of the map with the right edge not quite reaching Bavaria.

The image is far too big for most monitors to embed (you'd have a long scroll bar to contend with) so I left it as a link.
