ground units newbie question

Hi! The manual at 8.2.1 at page 182 is not very clear about it to me... about the ground unit composition (this unit is composed of) I see two numbers with "x" one between brackets one without what do they represent, the manual doesn't help me much :/

Neither a bug nor a hardware conflict so not appropriate for the tech subforum.  Should therefore be raised in the main AE forum.
 
The brackets to the left s of the "x" shows the number of unready devices.  The figure to the right of the "x" is the number of ready devices.  This is detailed more fully in s.8.2.2 of the manual on page 188.
