another difference why I prefer Wite, I think

VR designs has been reinforced with designer Cameron Harris and the result is a revolutionary new operational war game 'Barbarossa' that plays like none other. It blends an advanced counter pushing engine with deep narrative, people management and in-depth semi-randomized decision systems.

Can't get past the awesome color counters for each army group in Wite. In DC3 they all look the same. just saying..

and another thing, there is no undo move function. by error I click moved a unit from AGN one hex south into AGC theater, and used up all movement pts. no way to undo move and put unit back into its correct theater. So now there will be a penalty for this unit being in the wrong location. which brings up another issue: how to change Hq's which would be an option in Wite

There is a way to highlight the army leader and all associated divisions when you click on a unit. So its easy to sort them out.

They are two entirely different games.

I happen to think both are great, but one does it's premise well and so does the other.

I really think it is too much of an "apple and oranges, Bart" kind of thing.

I also own Piercing fortress Europa which plays completely different to WITW, even though the are all really board wargames done on a computer.

Hi Mantrans,

Zip into Preferences and select 'Minimalist Counters'.

Cheers,
Cameron

Thank you for the Minimalist Counters. [&o][&o][&o]

It may be just me but the gauges on the counters were too busy and distracting. I would take a fuel gauge on the panzer groups though. [:D]
