"Program Updates" Tab

Hi All:
I noted that the last update shown in the "Program Updates" tab
in the TOC is 2.08 17 Dec 2014. The game shows I am running version
2.0.10b. I also can't find anywhere to get the details on the changes,enhancements, etc., other than the "What's New" doc, which
does not provide details. Is the the way it should be or is there
a problem?

Hi,

your game is fine. From version 2.04 onwards, a detailed list of changes is provided through the 'whatsnew.pdf' document (38 pages) in the "Flashpoint Campaigns Red Storm" folder.
The whatsnew.pdf should list the changes up to including your version 2.0.10.

Thx for your reply. What I was looking for was documentation which
gives a more detailed description of the changes, additions,etc.
For example,in the latest "What's New" document, for v 2.0.10,
under "Added", it has, "Four types of unit status markers."
Where can I find what the new markers are?

Hi Navman,

in the whatsnew.pdf, the long summary of changes in the first pages is just the list of contents for the detailed description in subsequent pages.
On page 9, 2.1 "New - There are Four Types of Unit Status Markers" describes (and illustrates) the four markers added.

Hi William,
I think the problem is that I do not have the doc you are mentioning.
The doc I have is a readme file dated 23 Nov 15. It lists all the changes, etc., without any detail. The page you reference,9, 2.1,
references changes for v 2.0.3. It would appear that I am missing
the doc you are citing. Is there a way I can get it?

No the latest 2.0.10b update has a number of incorrect files in the package and the Readme.txt was also made into a PDF that overwrote our standard document with all the details. Below are links for both PDFs. If you want the What's New to show from the in-game menu selection, just rename it to whatsnew.pdf and make sure it is in the main game folder.

I've also noticed that.
I hope this will be corrected/fixed ASAP.
Such skeletons in the closet (German proverb) look sloppy and unprofessional!

That's a tab we killed off a while back. I'll I can assume is that the updating of some tools going into 2.0.10 toggled some of these things back to on. We are going back over things and hope to have a "cleaned up" version 2.0.11 in a few weeks. Trust us there are many levels of frustration on our end trying to get all of this worked out and understanding what broke what.
