Japan produces 26 build points (one factory isn't used) and saves 5 oil. 6 oil are used for reorganisation and 10 oil remain for future use. The Taiho gets finished. Builds are CVP, FTR2, NAV2, 3 pilots, 2 CP, CV (first cycle), MAR and MOT.

Here is the national anthem of the Phillipines:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-FUBJY6nco0

France receives 2 build points from the US. It saves 1 oil. 1 oil is used for reorganisation and 4 oil remain for future use. It builds a CVP and saves the remaining build point.

The US produces 55 build points. 2 are send to France. It saves 22 oil (it received 20 oil from the CW in trade). 7 oil are used for reorganisation and 24 oil remains for future use. A CVP gets scrapped. They repair the French cruiser Malcolm, the New Zealand cruiser Leander and a TRS. The light carrier Belleau Wood, the cruisers Cleveland and Denver and an AMPH gets finished. They start two Essex Class Carriers and 2 AMPH. Builds are: 2 CP, HQ-ARM, 2 MIL, 3 FTR2, CVP and 3 pilots.

The CW produces 26 build points (3 factories aren't used due to the broken convoy lines between Australia and the US). It saves 6 oil and uses 5 oil for reorganisation. After sending 20 oil to the US, there remains 41 oil available for future use. The Formidable gets finished and starts an AMPH and a TRS. Builds are: 2 CP, 2 pilots, 2 NAV3, TERR and GAR.

The USSR produces 20 build points. It saves 1 oil and uses 5 oil for production. 1 oil is used for reorganisation. 34 oil remains for further use. 2 obsolete FTR's are scrapped. Builds are 2 HQ-I, 3 GAR and 2 MIL.

The Phillipines was conquered by Japan and Upper Volta was conquered by Italy. Persia was liberated by Italy and Germany returned territory to the country(well, that was what they wanted to do. A small bug here...).
The Persian partisans rebel against this decision. They want independence and want to introduce communism, which they would want to get rid of first... O well, that's the rules...

May/June 1942, Allied impulse number 1:

The USSR takes a combined action. It hasn't got a lot of units which can be moved in this weather, so why not?
The US, CW and France take naval actions, due to the weather throughout the globe.

Listen to: At Last - Glenn Miller (Ray Eberle, vocal)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-sg16tbH6OI

The convoy escorts are again put in place. The US moves the carrier fleet out of Capetown into the Bay of Bengal. Tbe first Murmansk convoy sails out of Liverpool. Loaded TRS sail out into the Cape St. Vincent, guarded by CW and US battle fleets. The US Carriers enter the Red Sea. Loaded TRS are sighted around New Zealand and Pago Pago. Other TRS load Brazilian and US units at the coast. A Canadian FTR gets loaded for transportation and the Dutch transport the Typhoon FTR to the South. Large escorts are provided for those TRS which might get attacked by Axis fleets. The Allied SUB's again sail out of Australia towards the South China Sea and search for the Japanese merchantmen. The storms in the sea area prevents any aircraft activity. However, the Allies fail to find the merchantmen, due to the weather (Allied 5, Axis 4).

The Black Sea fleet sails out of Sevastopol.

The Soviets rail a Siberian INF out of Novosibirsk to Kirov. The Soviet government is evacuated out of Moscow. Omsk is the temporary capital of the Soviet Union. Stalin however is stubborn and stays in his bunker in Moscow. He announces that Beria, in case of the fall of Moscow will become the new leader of the Soviet Union. Beria later writes: “I've never seen Stalin so full of guilt. He took it personally that he couldn't save the Soviet soldiers, so he stayed in Moscow”.

The USSR retreats Yeremenko out of contact with the Japanese towards the west. Some other units are moved to. The Soviet airforce rebases eastwards.

May/June 1942, Axis impulse number 3:

Germany and Japan take naval actions, Italy takes a land action.

Germany send SUB's into the North Atlantic. They search for the merchantmen in the area. The British send the Vildebeast on patrol. Axis roll 6, Allies roll 1. The Allies avoid combat (not wanting to risk the precious merchantmen).

The Germans also send a fleet into the Black Sea. They decide to wait if the Soviets would want to battle this sea area.

In the Bay of Bengal, the Japanese want to try if they can get rid of the cruiser there and start hammering on the Allied forces in Birma. A BB fleet, together with a couple of slow CV's sail out of Singapore and search for the CW cruiser. Allies roll 1, Axis roll 3. This means that the Frobisher runs into the Japanese battle fleet:

The cruiser only manages a single hit on the Fuso. Not enough to force it back to port...

Japan doesn't want to fight in the South China Sea. A Japanese cruiser task force enters Cape Naturaliste. The Japanese Commander search for the merchantmen. Allies roll 10, Axis 4. The Japanese decide to include the units in the sea boxes 0 and 1. 2 surprise points are used to decrease damage and 6 to increase damage:

The CW aborts the sea area.
Another Japanese cruiser task force enters the Coral Sea and searches for enemy merchantmen. Axis roll 8, Allies roll 1. The Allies avoid combat.

Submarines in the Tasman Sea patrol the sea area. Axis roll 6, Allies 9. The ocean is a big place...

In the New Zealand Coast, a Japanese task force, consisting of CV's, a BB and a couple of cruisers search for the enemy. Axis roll 2, Allies roll 3. The cruiser Suffolk is found and opens fire with the AA guns:

Both sides stay for another round. Axis roll a 4 and the Allies a 6. Contact is lost. In Polynesia another Japanese CV task force searches for a loaded TRS. Axis roll 8, Allies 4. It's a big ocean indeed...

In the South China Sea, the US again decides to search for the Japanese merchantmen. Allies roll 1, Axis 8. Weather is storm, so no planes could fly into the sea area. A submarine combat is called for. 4 points are spend to decrease the Allied losses to non and 6 are spend to increase the Japanese losses:

Tojo is shocked when the huge losses of merchantmen are reported to his war cabinet. In the next round, the Allies don't include the submarines anymore, ending the combat in the sea area.

Listen to the Soviet naval march: Forward, Red Marines (Низвергнута ночь...)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BsyEYK5XNh8

The Soviet admiral in the Black Sea is positioned to provide defensive shore bombardment when he gets reports of German and Turkish naval vessels leaving Istanbul northwards. He decides to attack the Axis fleets. Allies roll 1 and Axis 6. The Leipzig is sighted just before the bow of the Soviet task force when it sails out of a rainpour. The German ship isn't able to fire any of his guns, before the granades hit the poor vessel (2 surprise points used to decrease damage to nothing and 2 to increase damage):

May/June 1942, Allied impulse number 5:

The USSR and the CW choose land actions. France passes and the US takes a combined action.

Italian ships in Port Sudan are suddenly attacked by waves of US carrier planes. Axis and Allies both roll 2. The Italian AA opens fire:
