GPQ --- FASCAM

The new Cold War turned hot wargame from On Target Simulations, now expanded with the Player's Edition! Choose the NATO or Soviet forces in one of many scenarios or two linked campaigns. No effort was spared to model modern warfare realistically, including armor, infantry, helicopters, air support, artillery, electronic warfare, chemical and nuclear weapons. An innovative new asynchronous turn order means that OODA loops and various effects on C3 are accurately modeled as never before.

GPQ --- FASCAM

Post by Deathtreader »

Hi all,

I'm away from my gaming machine so I can't test the game for answers to these questions.

Does anyone know for certain whether or not minelets fired into a hex already occupied by a stationary enemy unit will:
a/ cause immediate casualties to that unit and/or
b/ impose the 30 minute delay on that unit.

If no to "a" or "b" then will the delay and any casualties occur when the unit attempts to LEAVE the newly mined hex.

Or does the delay and any casualties only occur to unit(s) attempting to ENTER the newly mined hex.

Thanks in advance!

Rob.
So we're at war with the Russkies eh?? I suppose we really ought to invade or something. (Lonnnng pause while studying the map)
Hmmmm... big place ain't it??

Hitting a unit with FASCAM will cause losses, but also create a breached field and not slow the units down. They are in it and still moving to get out. A minor abstraction but it works. [;)]
