RELEASED : Any interest in maps recolored like these?

Post by SilentHunter »

I moved the original 6 pictures to the bottom of this post. I'm attaching two texture sets, one for summer and one for summer that has an illustration effect turned on, draws a (black border around objects). There are 26 maps in each .zip file.

1) Extract the .png files from the texture set(s) below you want to us in to
the \Flashpoint Campaigns Red Storm\Modules\FPRS\Maps\Custom folder and run the game

2) To remove the maps just delete the .png files form the custom folder.

Summer - Summer
Summer with Illustration - Summer Illustration

Here are a few screens; the first two show summer the last two show summer with illustration on. To see all the screens you can view them here; Summer Screens and Summer with Illustration Screens

Yes here are some screens, almost done have two maps left to convert. I'm going to include two sets, ones like #6 as those seem to be the most popular and an illustrated set like #2 but with darker colors.

Holy moley, that's some good work there.

On a second thought, I'd like to see some of these guys doing these lovely remakes... Try making some entirely new maps on their own.

How do you get maps like this in the game you own?

demjansk--Just drop the .png file of the custom map into the custom folder located at "Flashpoint Campaigns Red Storm, Modules/FPRS/Maps/Custom". That way you won't overwrite the original map file. Custom maps (map.png) of existing maps that are placed in the custom folder will be automatically selected by the program.

I love these maps. Brilliant work. I want to use them, but is there any chance of non-hex versions?

Thanks. I prefer 3 above, by the way, because it looks most like a sheet of map paper.

Hi,
These look absolutely stunning.
Are there any other download links? Every time I download I get an invalid archive message.

Cheers
