Destroying airbases or runways

Since under the new release, airbases and runway facilities cannot be totally destroyed, if I encounter a scenario in which
destroying a runway or base yields points, I add a trigger for 95% damaged to the destruction event so it yields the same points.
I suggest that scenario creators use 95% damage triggers to award points for destroying airbases or runway type facilities.

Whats the point in this? why cant they be totally destroyed?

For "single-unit airbase" facilities there was a bug which has been resolved: tm.asp?m=3961572
