War in the West on Steam??

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

I don't think so. Maybe after a couple of DLCs. It took 5 years from launch for WitE to get to Steam.

Not in the near future (according to devs). May also depend on sales generated by Steam WitE (I assume).

Well, I think it's likely to be on Steam, eventually. Just take a close look...

Question for Matrix folks, are they neutral on where we buy games (Steam or Matrix site?). I like convenience of Steam but am a very loyal Matrix fan and don't want to take away any $.

You can always get your Steam key from Matrix. Best of both worlds =)

Unless there some big difference in price i buy here. Nice to have a steam and DRM free version, which you only get when you buy here.

Gentlemen publishers, the question is very relevant - when the game and addon to it will be available in digital network Steam?

WITW is not planned for Steam anytime soon. It will likely happen eventually, but if it does we will also give all existing customers free Steam keys if they want them.

We will never stop selling games through our own store. That is the best way to buy our games as far as supporting us and the developer. However, Steam is a nice additional distributor that we've added into our release plans and where and when it makes sense to release a game on Steam as well, we will certainly do so.

Hope Matrix-games dont came into the empire of STEAM to play; (matrix games born as a family and should be this way); Matrix games are the best strategic games ever; STEAM is a BIG bussines; and i know is hard not to be part of the bussines ( alot more potential buyyers will come); but Matrix games is now knowing all over the world right now and dont need to mixed his name with steam-games; i still hope to play matrix games without playing by the rules of steam.

dont mixed with steam¡

I know people who play historical strategy games who have/had never heard of Matrix/Slitherine untill I mentioned them, some of those same people had never heard of Paradox untill they came across their games on Steam, so being seen on a 'big business' like Steam can be beneficial to growing the player base of what after all are 'niche' games.

not me (as an very old paradox player too); but i want to give and pay my money to Matrix-family; not to steam; and have my keys-numbers with matrix only; just think on the problem that you get roobbed your steam account; STEAM WILL ONLY get problems at MATRIX.

Matrix rules¡; be strong to the steam empire; dont submitt and more important be free¡ Matrix we want YOU as always; steam will change your policy.

I would be more worried about my computer being stolen out of my home then a virtual account.

The best is to have both options, Steam or purchase from Matrix.
