interested in the game as h2h

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

My question is can we fudge and make house rules on some of the victory point rules.. or does the editor not allow us this.. and if we edite how does one play h2h with a modded game?

You can mod victory levels in campaigns, and victory objective and casualty points in scenarios and then save off your changes as a modified scenario. You can always agree to house rules with any opponetn.

You have to create the revised scenario in the editor before you set up the h2h game, then set up the 2 player challenge with that scenario.
