Ok I'll start the we wish thread.

Mouse wheel zoom
left mouse click grab to move map
F3 to go to unit highlighted
AI to use Helo's
Basic force pick for battle generator i.e. infantry or armor focus.
Map preview in battle generator
more detailed after action report
to be able to review map and forces and casualty list after battles

I don't know if those deployments in the campaign are historical setups but how about a free setup variant of each campaign via set up zones. I find at times my strategy choices limited by deployment and terrain and turn limit. I'd like to fight them also with a free setup variant.

There was more, but it alludes me at the moment. looking forward to seeing other people suggestions.

Once again...great game guys.

how about some way to make view 3 useful. I don't know maybe others find it useful, i usually never use it. Would 2d icons on view 3 make it useful or help, i don't know or is it even possible. I find it hard to see any terrain features and the units are hard for me to see.

Linked Campaigns can be constructed without text editing.
Hex Outlines and Contours visible at the same time.
Music needs to be changed th be appropriate for the ME not WW2.

Do you actually use view #3 .....what for? With the new views i play mostly in 2d now, i do like to go down for a close up of the carnage[:)]

I like to see the look on the faces of my Troops when I remonstrate and rebuke them for their pitiful performance. Works for me...

Time is flexible.

Hex size is set to 250m per hex.

You should be using 3D to ensure unit facing is in the proper orientation, and also it allows you to direct fire against a single unit in a hex. Move distances in 2D and move to contact/fight in 3D.

3D view #3 is ideal for spotting artillery traces during the replay.

Hello Jason.
It's not really a wish, but it's rather a question.
Could you introduce in this series other command and control rules ? For instance, formations could have postures (attack/defend/rest) or units could suffer from a shortage of action points because they are outside the command range of their HQ. These are just examples, not suggestions. Do you plan to do such things ?

After playing 5 or 6 scenarios and i'm 6 battles into an LCG i think it would be really nice to have more feedback and options after a battle. JTCS suffers from this also the after battle stuff is pretty generic and could use some window dressing. Maybe add some tabs so you could look at the numbers, KIA's for you and your enemy, ability to look at the map after battle, more personality in the battle summary. Not really sure what i'm asking for but the after battle stuff seems kinda blah.

thought of something else since the boxes are useless under extreme FOW how about they just not show up. The damage box and the assault odds box are the ones i'm thinking of.
