Bought the Game!

Sat on the fence wondering if there was an improvement in graphics from original series. I am glad to say yes there is and the pics you see in the AARs are what you get. Will be reading the manual in the next couple of days and waiting for more releases in this series. [:)]

+1, ditto

Worked through Bootcamp 1&2 last night. Very smooth. I appreciate what you guys have done with the JTCS 2.0 update and now CSME. Looking forward to eventual backfits to JTCS. And an AIW mod similar to the PB/PL mods would be great, thanks!

Do you mean the main menu mod? I have considered it, but man the AIW box art is ugly [8D]

Yeah, so maybe another image like one I found on BoardGameGeek for Situation A-4 Rafa Junction could suffice? Something like that would be fine. I'd be more interested in the adaptation of the old AIW scenarios into CSME. The main menu art is just eye-candy.

Have you tried the Box Art UI mod made available a while ago?

Got it now. Looks good. Still, a mod package one of these days with the old AIW scenarios would be a plus.

Unless I am missing something, that's just some scenario design. I'm working on 1985 scenarios now but That wouldn't be hard. If no one else takes it on maybe in a few weeks?

Yep, took the plunge and bought the game too!

So far I'm impressed! Been playing the Jenin '48 scenario against the A/I through the wee hours this morning.

Got it as soon as it came out, and enjoying it. Not doing as well as I would like, but who would want a game that is a cake walk anyway. No challenge in that![:)]

Agreed, cake walks are no fun at all.

Lots of replayability and more coming in the future! Exciting times ahead!
