Where does Unit Viewer get unit data?

Post by 76mm »

Hi, I'm trying to get a complete list of the units from the EF module. The Unit Viewer seems to get a complete list from the obx files, but they seem to be encrypted. Is there a complete list of the data from the Unit Viewer in something like excel format?

I've got an excel list, but it is not complete. All I need for now is Russian and German (not Hungarian, Rumanian, etc).

They are from the platoonXX.obx files, but the unscripted versions are the .oob files.

Great, thanks. Is it fair to assume that all of the Russian platoons are in one file, and all of the German in another, or do I have to hunt and peck around all the files?

Additional detail: Unit Viewer reads the unencrypted Platon##.oob files, not obx files.

Something very handy if you decide to play with the NoEncryption option, having modded platoon data. More info on modding units HERE.
