So how do you control mutiple CORPs?

Forum dedicated to the Scourge of War Game set during the Napoleonic Wars. Scourge of War: Waterloo follows in the footsteps of its American Civil War predecessors and takes the action to one of the most famous battles in history. It is by far the most detailed game about the final battle of the War of the Seventh Coalition.

So how do you control mutiple CORPs?

Post by ETF »

Have a heck of a time as an Army commander......no problem as a Corp commander though. Any recommendations?

I TC my Corp commanders and bind them with keys. The Divisional commanders don't seem to move. Do I have to TC EVERY divisional commander and move them my self?

Thanks guys!

For movement:

TC corp commanders

unTC division commanders and lower commanders.
Give a hold order
give movement orders through division commanders
do not move to close to enemy lines.
watch artillery as they like to stop along the way if they get a glimpse of the enemy.

Ok....thanks I think I have it. Who do I give a hold order to the Div guys?

Have to give movement orders to EVERY division commander? There could be what like 20+ for mutiple corps? Is that correct?

The hold order goes through the corp commander.

Use the Command Map it is your friend. It is an immensely useful tool. I order each division commander using CM. The way I play, I rarely command anything bigger than a corp. so, that is 3 to 6 division commanders.
