Problem creating new Air Directives

Post by ReadyR »

Just getting into this great game. Have played Intro Scenario Husky using only the automatic
creation of Air Directives. Now trying it again, but want to add new additional Air Superiority and Ground
Attack Directives. I can seem to create them (I see them in the summary after confirming them)
but cannot execute them...the Execute button does not function. When I try to create new Air Directives
to operationalize the Execute button, the new Directives are not saved. Any advice? I'm fairly new
at this so am reasonably sure I am missing something glaringly obvious.

Not sure I understand the problem. Just can guess that you probably need to exit AD planning interface into normal mode - F1 or top menu button on the left.

Its a 3 stage process, I've attached an example just showing the basics

you create an airdirective as you have done (step 1)

Notice that there is a 'confirm' button in white

so step 2, click on that (it goes yellow) and then yes/no to confirm

if you selected yes, then that AD is now added to the set for that air command, so that in step 3 you see there are now 4 missions for 2nd tactical air

Thank you both for the help. I am now busily creating new ADs. For some reason I was thinking that every new AD had to be confirmed back at the Air Directive Creation screen. Now realize this is for "automatic" ADs only. No wonder it wasn't working! Thanks again.
