Interesting little scenario. Ran into a bit of a problem with the minefields and posted it to the tech forum. Fairly straight forward, peel back the defence and push your way in. Couple of points:

-Moskva class were pretty much limited to Black sea and Med, would go for a Kiev class and it would give a bit more ground support with the Yak-141's
-A Helo in the support group was not readied.
-did not accrue any victory points but that may be because I never got the transports in
-Could use some ground support AC, perhaps MiG-17, 19's or 21's - would need to beef up the Norwegian defence a bit
-Some low flying ASuW Helo's would keep the minesweepers honest
-Should clear the message log before saving and posting

in briefing, "suppress AND defenses" should be "suppress AIR defenses"

Yeah I knew that..I was just recreating this from the old paper rules "Battles of the Third World War" so I didn't deviate too much. I had played that same scenario on paper 25 years ago and we never finished it so I wanted to see how it played out.

Was there are shelling from the coastal guns?

All noted...will work on an update ASAP..

I didn't let the gunners get a chance! I know what they can do[:D]. Shelled them from long range and then hit them with Helo's first AT-6 (which is also good at getting the AD units) and then rockets.
