Help - British Ground Support Has Stopped Flying

Post by dereck »

I have no problem with US ground support missions flying but NO British ground support are flying -either in the ETO or MTO. They were before but not now.

What possible causes should I look at? I'm totally stumped though the answer is probably staring me in the face.

Thanks
PO2 US Navy (1980-1986);
USS Midway CV-41 (1981-1984)
Whidbey Island, WA (1984-1986)
Naval Reserve (1986-1992)

Are the British units exhausted? Maybe they're below the flying threshold and too many of their planes were destroyed or damaged? Only possible reasons off the top of my head.
