WitPTracker used to be restricted to Java 6, but no longer. The latest version works with any release of Java.
Great news trying out tracker now, thanks guys, should be easy to run one or the other or both.

The combat report is not read in. Too much data unfortunately for the DB structure and Java memory requirements.ORIGINAL: SilentHunter
The only thing I can't find is the combat report in tracker. So far it seems really good, a bit over my head at the moment at everything presented but seems self explanatory with some time. Under Intel Operations I can see my ASW air units attacking but can't find where the info on the combat report is presented. Can someone help me to locate this? Thanks

Two issues:
1. The link to the latest version of tracker doesn't work for me. It seems to be saying there's a server problem, the server or file doesn't exist.
2. I've been trying to start a game with the RHS mod, using Tracker 1.92. I get this error message:
Hi Steve -ORIGINAL: SierraJuliet
I've posted this on the tech support page but thought I might get a result on this page.
Looking for some help and hoping I've made a simple error to fix.
Today I got tracker working. Yay!
When I went back into the game to load up the saved game I got a "saved game failed to load" message. I've tried starting a new scenario and that works as expected. I tried every slot that had a saved game in with the same result except for slots 198 and 199 which decided to load just fine.
Any pointers greatly appreciated and if more information is needed let me know.
Thanks
Steve
Looks okay and I have never had a problem with it inside the matrixgames folder. But you might as well experiment and put it on your desktop. But as you can read other files - correctly???, it doesn't really make sense...ORIGINAL: SierraJuliet
This is the properties file? I think it is good as tracker worked quite ok.
Now this might be the problem. When I downloaded I sent it to the Matrix Games Folder. I should have selected a folder somewhere else perhaps?
# WitPTracker AE properties file

The only other thing that I can think of is that you have applied the patch since the old save files and now you need to use the correct dll for that save.
If you started the game pre-patch, you need the old dll and then the turns after the patch you need the new dll ...
get me ?
edit1: What I mean is the associated save needs the dll it was saved with...
edit2: If this is the case, you can open the file in WITP-AE and resave it using the new Dll and then as long as Tracker has the new dll, it will read.
