Information Window Lock

V.1.4.5, Global War, Solitaire:
During Unit Placement in the Reinforcment Phase a try to open the Carrier Air Unit Class Information from the Unit Menu of a carrier plane causes the programm to freeze (probably because the window opens somewhere unfetchable in the background). Hitting the CTRL button unfreezes the programm again, but the wanted carrier plane class information can not be retrieved at this stage of the game.

PS: Same problem occurs during the Lend Lease Phase. Opening an information window (like the interface window to silence the annoying noise during this phase) makes this window appear under the open Lend Lease window and the only solution I found in this case is to cancel the game.
Sigh, thougt we were beyond this kind of nonsense now.

You can use the interface window to turn off all the annoying sounds, if you like.

There's other strategies: F10 then close that form, see if things show up. Or roll up the detailed map and other forms and hunt for the missing form. Or sometimes the focus is lost on the entire app, and you can try Alt-Tabbing back to it.
