Amazing work, indeed. Apparently it isn't that there are no more talented programmers with heart blood for WiTP AE...

Strangely I have seen this topic pop up a couple of days ago and never peeked inside. I was somehow expecting something very different behind that topic. I am sure I am not the only one with this thought, nor the first: I was expecting someone suggesting the forum needed a web-based viewer for the AARs so as to watch the replays to your favorite matches. I think that would be a great addition to the AARs in general. There are some highly exciting matches and nicely done AARs to follow, and getting to watch turn replays of the hot phases could be cherries on the cake. Just a thought...

Baloogan,

Great work!

What game/version are you pulling from, for the data you are displaying? I ask, because the 64th Field AA Battalion display shows it equipped with 75mm AA guns. That is a legacy from the original WitP. In WitP-AE, all the US AAA Bns have 3in M3 or 3in M1918 guns when the war starts.

Scenario 1 and the most updated copy too; the TOEs are from extracting the unit info from the scenario file itsself. I can't show current OOB/TOE though, only what it references in the DB.

My understanding is that only when a new game is started the 'newer' data files are used for TOE. So if an upgrade patch is done for a game in progress, the EXE changes are incorporated into the game but nothing else. I'd be glad to be told I am wrong about this [:)]

Hmmm . . . a mystery! I also have the latest version and in the editor, there is no "USA 3bn TOE" that I can find. In the editor's 'location' field, #2362 is the USA 3bn Cst AA Rgt. In the third weapon slot, weapon 1133 is the 3in M3 AA Gun. And to Numdydar's point, when I start the game (stock scenario 1, non-historical first turn) the 64th Field AA Battalion is equipped with the 3in M3s, and from the editor it is tied to TOE #2362.

I vaguely recall that when AE was first rolled out, that we kept the old TOEs from WitP in the DB, but I don't see them now.

Regardless of the mystery, this is fine work that you've done.
