I have lived in the USA from time to time over the span of my life
and have seen a sea change since I first crossed the border in the late
1950's. Some things however have not changed or have not changed very
much as cultures and traditions and attitudes change slowly. I simply
cannot imagine how a black American would feel about the symbolism
embodied by that particular banner and the people who have waved it with
pride. I remember when a lot of such folks spoke openly of having
Martin Luther King. Jr. publicly executed or imprisoned forever,
Nelson Mandela style. Personally I do not attach much emotional baggage
to that flag as my father's family served on both sides in varying capacities
and my Mother's family made enough money by signing up for Michigan regiments
and taking the bounty money back across the river after dark that night until
they had enough money to build a modest sawmill in Ontario. Thus the family
fortune was secured.

Hi folks,
Just double checked all my civil war games on my iPad and the only thing that has changed is the rebel flag in Bull run. Btw the only rebel flag that ever should be recognized (or worth a damn) is the egg shell colored flag that Lee rode in with!

As the owner of the car, Bubba Watson is within his right to do whatever he wants to it.

He might be negatively impacting its resale value, but again, that is his business.

Its his reason that we find to be obtuse, not the question of his choice.
