How to stop AI from building factories?

In the editor under location types there is a button that says: "Buildable True". I had thought that setting it to "False" would prevent any side from building factories but when I toggle it to "False" the AI still builds factories even though the human player cannot. Is there a way to stop the AI from building factories?

It is in the settings that AI will build factories. Look there.

Actually, I think it is in the Location Type menu. There, there is a setting that allows for AIs to build factories. It references an Event nr. I know this because it bugged me at one point, and caused a scenario i was building to crash for me. Vic helped me.

So... ? How to disable it? I dont want AI spamming factories - im not using them even

Just set the factories to the settings on the picture above. It won´t build any then.

But i cant do anything with that. I dont have the buttons (playing A new Dawn, after map generation if i try to edit it does not allow me to make any changes)

that is because of the masterfile. As long as you have that connected, the most important stuff cannot be edited. If you want to remove the masterfile, go into setng, click masterfile, and then click cancel, when it asks you which one to load... and presto, everything is editable
