Feature Request: Ability to Move Empty Units

Post by tinjaw »

Sometimes I move all of the formations out of a unit. I would like to be able to move that empty unit to a new location where I can transfer new units to it. What do other people think about this?

I don't normally name my units other then Army headquarters so I just delete the unit that is empty and build a new one where I need it

You can use strategic movement to move empty units . . and it's free.

That costs you 1 PP each time you do that. Not much in a large game, but a big deal in smaller games.

If I am not mistaken, you get that 1 PP back form disbanding a unit. So that too is free.

I just tested this out and you are correct. I never noticed that before.

So I guess that makes this feature request moot.

When you disband a unit if it costs PP to build it you get it the PP back. You have to click on something to see the addition but it happens. Thats why before I lose a unit completely I combine it with another and disband the unit.
