spanish align question

spanish align question

In the attached game Germany and Italy landed on Gibraltor taking it with a German para and an Italian Marine. Spain was never attacked, so Germany tries to align Spain, but the game seems to crash. If Italy tries to align Spain however, it does work. Any ideas....

To be honest: no. It's a known bug that there is a problem with aligning Spain when both Italian and German units are in Gibraltar.

Looks like a bug, but it's better to have them align with Italy anyway, to make use of their fleet. Gibraltar is likely Italian-controlled since their marine is a 5 and the para a 4. Since Gibraltar becomes a Spanish hex, maybe MWiF is bombing out trying to resolve a cooperation issue if you choose to align Spain with Germany.

This is fixed in version 1.4.1.0 - available as a public beta next (I expect).
