Looking for Seasoned Japanese players

Post by Marshall »

Hi everyone, I am looking for seasoned players who are experienced with the Japanese side of the game.

I want to discuss some points like:

Strategy goals
Oil and resources
Japanese plane choices
Defensive tactics
Best locations etc etc

Perhaps the Moderator can even make a little Japanese player corner :)

If anyone is interested, send me a PM or email
we can discuss it by mail or other means, no need to give all the Japanese strategy away on the forum :)

Cheers!

Well done, half done, even sautéed!

anyone with strategic views on the Japanese strategic goals :)

I been reading the book "captain mahan war in the pacific strategy", it made me think about the strategy for Japan.

Some players go for Australia, others for India, or NZL. so many options, but what is it worth?

according to captain Mahan, Japan should go for a decisive battle,. all in, and not stretch the forces over large areas.

So I am looking for views on this, next to other criteria like oil and resource shipping lanes.

Is India really worth it?
What does Midway bring the Japanese player?
Or Australia, for that matter. especially if you can take NZL and cut Australia off completely.
I know many players view different on this, and I like to know the view points/goals.

Be careful of lowering your standards....you may get some half-baked. [:D]
