Is there a way to turn off the combat animation (as one can in WITP). Starting playing scenarios as Russian vs German computer; too much of my limited free time is spent with the computer displaying its attacks. I assume it takes 30+ minutes in larger scenarios and campaign game. I can review the attacks via Battle reports, I do not need to watch the movie.

Use the numeric keys, anytime, during combat and you see stuff going faster or slower, 1 is fastest, 2 slower, etc

Nevertheless, it can still take a while for the computer to run an AI turn, depending on the computer's specs. In my experience with the campaign, 15-30 minutes is typical.

Thanks, guess I can speed it up during the AI german and adjust speed during my Russian. else just look at the individual battles.
