I'am still here. I browse through the forums couple of times a week and update the AAR. I think this is my 5th PBEM (including Witp) that will end either in 1945 or 1946.

Whether it will be the last... Only time will tell!

I'm no longer playing AE, but darned if I don't still feel part of the community. I began playing UV in 2002 after seeking an alternative to a simplistic web-based game called "Fighting Flattops." Through fits and starts and occasional sabbaticals ("Vow of Celibacy" and "Shattered Celibacy" around 2009 or so come to mind), I carried on through WitP and AE. I've played multiple games against many of fine opponents, but my most frequent opponent has been John III for some fairly epic matches (and a nod here to Miller also).

I retired from AE in September 2013. Not because I'd lost interest. Rather, because I had too much interest! The game is too good! Too fun! Too intoxicating!

I had to go cold turkey to recclaim real life. (I gave up wargaming entirely, in fact.) I was afraid I couldn't walk away from the game, but I managed to do so. NOw I'm glad that I did, though I'll always wish I could play. I don't think I'll return to AE, but there's no doubt in my mind it's the finest strategic wargame ever.

Lame thread. Usually read the forum on a cell phone and do not log in, but visit daily.

Currently have three e-mail games going. Sounds like a lot but being retired what else do I have to do.

Here!

I am busy with a PBEM game as Japanese, and playing the AI on very hard as Japanese.

Been playing since PacWar came out.

I play allied and Japanese, currently more Japanese, as it is more challenging

Present!

Not playing much (and only against the AI at any rate) for half a year due to work and moving. Might get better towards the end of this month. Here is me hoping.
