Mad Max 2 is one of those rare beasts, actually better than the first, brilliant film.

The Road Warrior was the best of the original. I haven't seen the new one.

I recently watched The Road Warrior 2 again. It holds up nicely. It is the best. One, was a bit raw, Thunderdome was over done and a bit boring. But two was just right.

I'm w/ Encircled & crsutton - MM/TRW2 was the best. I'm avid to see the new film, & hope it'll have a gyrocopter or 3.

My SO went to go see the new one with her ex husband today (they take each other to movies for their birthdays and his was Friday). She thinks the new one is definitely the best.

My housemates came back last night and they were entirely unreasonably excited about the quality of the latest Mad Max movie. I haven't seen it, but no one should be that excited about a movie, its not right.

not much talking and very elemental level character development.... but it's a feast for the eyes...

I was reading an article a few months back that made the point Hollywood movies have largely forgotten about plots these days. Movies are increasing one special effect after another. Storytelling has moved to the small screen.
