New Technology

The new Cold War turned hot wargame from On Target Simulations, now expanded with the Player's Edition! Choose the NATO or Soviet forces in one of many scenarios or two linked campaigns. No effort was spared to model modern warfare realistically, including armor, infantry, helicopters, air support, artillery, electronic warfare, chemical and nuclear weapons. An innovative new asynchronous turn order means that OODA loops and various effects on C3 are accurately modeled as never before.

That's a big twinkie. More in line with a M1A1.

Do you have any info why the turret is so big? Expected it to be much smaller.

It's a mock-up placed on the top of the real turret which is much smaller. Possibly it looks like this:

The Russians have stuffed a number of systems in the turret. Including a number of active counter measures. Tack on large catch boxes to protect that stuff and ammo storage inthe back for the automatic gun and the turret gets big fast.

Ah I have read a report (forget where) that said russians who got close to the T-14 reported that the metal was all wobly. The report said it shows it is a prototype, but I thought "wasn't the T-95 much smaller?".
So I guess it could be maskirovka :)
