Campaign scenarios in the editor?

Post by hellfish6 »

Maybe I'm just being dumb, but I can't seem to load/edit any of the existing scenarios in the editor. WAD or I broke something? I just wanna tinker with the Downfall scenario.

Have you tried copying them from the main folder to the My games etc folder?

I'm having a similar problem. The start up screen shows only the "tutorial like" scenarios, and there is no mechanism for changing folders etc. I can't load ANY scenarios, only do the campaign. Running Win8.1

You need to first copy scenarios from the main game folder to the my games folder.
Then you start the game.

As soon as you complete a scenario in the campaign it becomes available as standalone scenario in the singleplayer menu.

If you want however, download and extract this file to your <documents>\My Games\Order of Battle - Pacific\Settings folder:
http://the-artistocrats.com/files/unlocked.zip

That will unlock all scenarios right away. Personally I think it sort of ruins the surprise of encountering these scenarios in the campaign first, but it's up to you :)

If you want to be able to edit them in the scenario editor you have to copy the scenario folders from the game's root folder to the my documents custom folder.

Thank you, that worked great. And I probably agree with the "surprise" idea, but this lets me try some of the recently created scenarios without embarking on the entire bloody campaign!
And I must admit, I haven't had this much fun and enjoyment in a game in a long time. Super job!

Lukas: Can you put that file on something other than "dropbox?"

I think this message must have been for someone else! My problems were fixed.
